Inés Badalo has won several composition awards including the Composition Prize of the Colegio de España in Paris–INAEM (France, Spain); Composition Prize of the Portuguese Society of Authors/Antena 2 RTP, among others. She was selected to participate at the UNESCO International Rostrum of Composers (Netherlands), and she has received a Leonardo Grant from the BBVA Foundation.
